Nakia is a woman of faith; deeply passionate about women’s development. She recognizes that like the caterpillar that changes into a butterfly, a woman must transform to activate her unique purpose. Unfortunately, some women face challenges that hinder rather than propel them onward. Nakia strives to help those women persevere through the cocoon to reveal God’s beautiful creation. Truly believing that we should, “Live with no regrets, and Love with no Limits.” 

Nakia is the Executive Director and Founder of Wise Women Development Center, author of Daily Wisdom- 30 Day Inspiration Journal, and co-author of the cross generational book, Grace. She’s volunteered in various arenas such as the Office of Circuit Court Cook County, The Prison Fellowship Ministries, and several programs within Homeless / Domestic Violence Shelters. Directly supporting women in need. Nakia continues to elevate her knowledge within women’s development. Currently having certification in Domestic Violence and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
